Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst (US)
Wyless is seeking an experienced financial analyst with a strong accounting background for our US finance team. The Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst will assist providing financial leadership and support to the US and UK finance teams and other functional departments. The ideal candidate thrives in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment, possesses a clear customer and operations focus, and has prior financial analysis experience with SAS, shared-services and highly-matrixed organizational structure.

Responsibilities
- Administer monthly accounting close, revenue recognition, detailed expense and labor cost review/validation.
- Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules.
- Meets accounting and financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing annual functional budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Coordinate year-end audit with outside CPA firm.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures. Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
- Preparing monthly financial reports, quarterly forecasts, including monthly Balance Sheets, Income Statement and cash flow statements.
- Work with the senior management and finance teams within all functions to provide financial analysis on a regular basis to drive strategic decisions & organization initiatives through budgetary goals.
- Provide information in a consistent, reliable and timely basis which improves decision making; highlight emerging issues related to reporting and provide recommendation how to address them.
- Assist with pricing and product line profitability models.
- Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
- Assist with the preparation of the quarterly board meeting presentation.
- Experience with project managing and process reengineering activities. Act as troubleshooter for finance projects.
Professional Experience
- BS in Accounting, Finance or Business; CPA preferred
- Five to seven years accounting/finance experience
- Financial systems and business application experience including advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SAGE or equivalent General Ledger experience
- Ability to manage concurrent assignments and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, business process and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to articulate with confidence to senior management
- Salary commensurate with experience
