Wyless Group, the leading provider of mobile data connectivity in the machine to machine (M2M) market announced today that it has been appointed a Symbol ISV Partner The Wyless Data Network provides wireless connectivity over GPRS, 3G, WiFi, HSDPA, mesh and satellite and spans over 195 Operators in more than 80 countries. The Symbol ISV program enables qualified software developers to use technical and marketing resources from Symbol to create applications for Symbol devices. The Wyless network simplifies the deployment of these applications from the LAN to mobile devices by delivering Fixed IP addresses over wide area mobile networks without the need for additional client software, middleware or hardware.

Wyless meets the growing requirement for secure and reliable wireless data communication between mobile devices and corporate IT Infrastructures. Using Wyless Fixed IP, Symbol mobile devices can communicate over GPRS as if they were on the customers LAN, as the Wyless network delivers secure end-to-end connectivity over a private network. Fixed IP connectivity also provides true two-way data communication, which enables push communication between the server and the device. The combination of Wyless connectivity and Symbol Mobility Products allows the ISVs and their customers to concentrate on their core business and outsource the complexity of wireless data connectivity and management.
The result is a quicker Return on Investment (ROI) and a more scalable connectivity platform.
