Enigma Vehicle Systems has over 12 years experience in security safety, vehicle and asset tracking and telematics for commercial vehicle and construction plant markets. With a team of 26 highly skilled mobile engineers, Enigma provides a mobile installation service with 24-hour customer service support.
In order to grow its service, Enigma wanted to increase its revenue by acquiring customers with a presence outside the UK. However they recognised that with the geographic expansion came an increase in risks, costs and control issues. Enigma did not want to deal with multiple Mobile Operators in local countries and so needed a solution that would provide cost-effective, fixed price roaming with a management platform for SIM card control and connectivity, as well as a professional approach to customer support.
In Wyless, Enigma found a supplier that could provide a cost-effective roaming service, a high level of technical and commercial expertise and the Internet-based Wyless Management Platform, offering visibility and control of network connectivity across over 120 countries.
The Wyless M2M solution was deployed after a 12-month period of evaluation to address particular problems that Enigma had encountered when tracked assets were roaming. The Wyless solution enables Enigma to reduce risks and costs, and increase their visibility and control of their network connections wherever they may be across the network of over 200 GPRS operators. Enigma is now able to offer a complete tracking service across Europe within a fixed cost and as a result has attracted European-wide customers.
