Textlink Ltd is a UK-based designer and producer of electronic products for the vehicle fleet management, security, industrial, medical and communication markets.

The Problem

Textlink turned their attention to the fast growing vehicle tracking market and developed their Textracker product. However, they needed a wireless data network partner who could offer a managed, global service and help build connectivity into the products. They also needed in-depth reporting on network status and device activity.

The Solution

The solution was our managed service; our easy and quick provisioning process and the coverage we could offer. Access to our back office network management platform gave Textlink control over their network as well as information audits and monitoring of individual vehicle assets and overall fleet management statistics.

The Result

The result is a pre-configured and network-enabled product that works over a secure managed global network supported by management tools that provide control and reporting.

It is an example of the maturing market and the convergence of network operators and device developers which results in products that require minimal installation and that leads to greater and faster user adoption.
